Application Checklist

Please note: In some circumstances all of the items below may not be required. Alternatively, lenders may request further or more detailed information that is not listed on this sheet. Please discuss this with your loans consultant.

When arranging to meet with your Loans Consultant, please ensure that you have copies of all documents ready, and that you also have the original documents available for viewing by the consultant. This will allow your application to proceed as quickly and smoothly as possible.

If you feel you are not able to supply the required documentation as listed below, there may still be a variety of options available to you. Please discuss alternative options with your Loans Consultant.

Required by all Applicants
100 points of ID  
  - Passport or Birth Certificate = 70 points  
  - Driver's licence/Pension card = 40 points  
  - Credit Card/Passbook/Rates Notice = 35 points  
  - Medicare Card/Senior's Card/Public Utility Bill = 25 points  
     
Are you a PAYG employee? - You will need two of the following:
Last 2 current payslips  
Tax returns and Assessments for the previous 2 years  
Group Certificates for the previous 2 years  
A letter from your employer stating your wage, and the tenure of your employment  
     
Are you Self-employed? - Either in a business or as a sole trader?
Tax returns and Assessments for the previous 2 years  
Profit and Loss statements & Balance sheet  
Letter from your accountact certifying the accounts if no current tax return is available  
     
Are you a Director of a Company or Trust?
Last 2 years Company Tax returns including Profit and Loss & Balance sheet  
Last 2 years personal Tax returns for Directors/Guarantors  
Letter from accountant certifying accounts  
Memorandum and Articles of Association  
Certificate of Incorporation/Constitution  
Background or History of company  
Management team details

Evidence of genuine savings over 6 months - minimum of 5% of loan amount  
Proof of deposit and funds to complete purchase (bank statements)

Will there be someone acting as Guarantor for your loan?  
Each guarantor will need to provide similar (and full) information as the applicants  
     
Have you been gifted funds that will be used to complete the purchase?  
A signed letter from the person(s) gifting the funds, stating the funds are a gift and are non-returnable  
     
Do you have an adverse credit history?  
Letter stating details of debt including amount, date of occurence, amount paid or unpaid, and reason for debt  
     
Are you receiving a divorce settlement that will be used to complete the purchase?  
A copy of the settlement contract  
     
Is the property you are purchasing, under a Company Title?
